Am I required to be able to receive e-invoices?
Yes. Since 1 January 2025 every business in Germany must be able to receive domestic B2B e-invoices, small businesses included. With Informer receiving is arranged for free. All about sending e-invoices.
What happens with invoices that do not arrive as e-invoices?
Just as easy: forward PDFs by email or upload them yourself. OCR extracts the data and the booking suggestion is ready.
Can I import old supplier invoices too?
Of course. You can always upload supplier invoices retrospectively. Invoices from the same year go into the purchase ledger; older ones are better uploaded to the archive.
Can I receive international supplier invoices too?
Yes. Informer processes supplier invoices in multiple languages and currencies, so your foreign suppliers land neatly in your books too.
