Do I have to keep paper receipts for 10 years?
Keeping them for 10 years is indeed required, but it may be done electronically. A digitally stored receipt counts the same as paper, as long as its origin, content and legibility stay guaranteed.
Am I required to process my receipts digitally?
No. Unlike purchase invoices , there is no legal requirement for receipts. Scanning them digitally is pure convenience: nothing gets lost, the VAT is recognised automatically and your accountant can watch along right away.
Does InformerAI recognise VAT automatically?

Can AI reach my accounting data?
